After a wet morning the sun came out for a short while so I went down to the fields and sat in the car and watched the antics of the Little Bustards (Sisón Común / Tetrax tetrax) again, all three males are now getting more actively territorial but just the one seems to have the pulling power at the moment and is holding onto all 5 females.

As I was enjoying the Bustards I also saw Black-winged Kite (Elanio Común / Elanus caeruleus), Common Buzzard (Busardo Ratonero / Buteo buteo), Little Owl (Mochuelo Europeo / Athene noctua),
Eurasian Skylark (Alondra Común / Alauda arvensis), Zitting Cisticola (Cistícola Buitrón / Cisticola juncidis), Western House Martin (Avión Común Occidental / Delichon urbicum),
Red-rumped (Golondrina Dáurica / Cecropis daurica) and
Barn Swallow (Golondrina Común / Hirundo rustica),
Cetti's Warbler (Cetia Ruiseñor / Cettia cetti),
Spanish (Yellow) Wagtail (Lavandera Boyera / Motacilla flava iberiae),
Corn Bunting (Escribano Triguero / Emberiza calandra),
Western Dappled (Euchloe crameri) x3 and
Small White (
Pieris rapae) x9 and
Clouded Yellow (Colias croceus) x5.
