On the way back down.

As we walked we started by finding several Somber Bee Orchids (Ophrys lupercalis) which were followed by a nice patch of Giants (Himanthoglosum Robertiana) and then a good number of Sawfly (Ophrys tenthredinifera).

Sawfly Orchid (Ophrys tenthredinifera).
We continued to walk and then Polly found a nice patch of Ophrys dyris, shortly after this a Spanish Orchid hunter turned up, I think his name was Francisco Sanchez and he kindly pointed out that two of the three stands of what I had thought were Dyris were actually the Hybrid between O. Dyris and O. Lupercalis = Ophrys x juarezi (Need to remember to take my Glasses).

He then took us to see another Hybrid which I had seen before but could not find it today, it was between O. Tentredinifera and O. Lupercalis = Ophrys x juanamarii. We also saw Cloven Petalled Campion (Silene colorata), Palmate Anemone (Anemone palmata) and Tassel Hyacinth (Leopoldia comosa).

We said thanks to Francisco and went back to our cars and then made our ways home.
