Huétor Fields, Granada Province, Spain.

A walk around the Lucerne Fields before a coffee with friends in Riofio.
Ebird List for the Fields.

Early Sunshine coming up over the Sierra Nevada.
I started the morning by going around to the Walnut Trees along the side of the Arroyo Vilano and then went for a walk back along the Lucerne fields to my normal parking spot but stopped there as it got a tad too muddy to continue on up stream.
A very muddy Arroyo due to the amount of top soil being lost.
Looking to the Lucerne Fields.

Huétor Tajar, Granada Province, Spain.

A drop of rain, a good day to stay home.

Got the Log Burner fired up.
Thankfully our area got off lightly again but some places over in Malaga Province got hit badly unfortunately.
The Barranco (just down the road) after it had dropped a bit.
Loja was flooded in places and the Barranco's and Arroyo's around Huétor were flowing well, we need the water but due to the way the farmers treat the Olive groves around my area most of it runs of taking huge amounts of topsoil with it.
My normal crossing point of the Arroyo Vilano.
The broken bank of the Arroyo allowing the water to wash the track away.
If the farmers left the weeds and did not spraying everything they would bind the soil and keep more of it in place.
The passing Storm heading out East towards Granada and the Sierra Nevada.
