Playa Guadalmar sea front, Malaga Province.
A quick visit to Guadalmar again.
3x Velvet Scoters (Negrón Especulado / Melanitta fusca). |
This time I was on my own as Jayne was in the car having a few minutes whilst I walked out to the rocks near the Churinghito where I bumped into Luis Alberto who had his scope set up and was watching the flock of Common Scoters (Negrón Común / Melanitta nigra). After a while we found the 3x Velvet Scoters (Negrón Especulado / Melanitta fusca) stright out from the Churinghito off the rocks.
Western Osprey (Águila Pescardora / Pandion haliaetus). |
Other species included White Wagtail (Lavandera Blanca / Montacilla alba), Yellow-legged (Gaviota Patiamarilla / Larus Michahellis) and Lesser Black-backed Gulls (Gaviota Sombria / Larus fuscus), Northern Gannet (Alcatraz Atlántico / Morus bassanus), Great Cormorant (Cormorán Grande / Phalacrocroax carbo) and then just as I was about to leave a Western Osprey (Águila Pescardora / Pandion haliaetus) flew along the coast looking for it's next meal.

Travelling to and from Sevilla City, Sevilla Province.
A swift visit to Sevilla for Jayne's Birthday.
We got up and eventualily decided that Sevilla would be the place for the day out so we set off and a couple of hours later we were parked up and having a stroll around the city seeing the sights then jumped on one of the Horses and carts which was very good and we both really enjoyed it.
I had an Icecream and Jayne had a crepe and after both were eaten we contined with a walk along the river and the back up in to Plaza España where we had a very nice walk throught the crowds finding the Granada ceramic seat before heading to the car and the we made our way back home. A great day which we both enjoyed.
