I decided to go down town to get a few bits and the called in at the fields on the way back, I parked and scanned the Lucerne fields and soon found the more territorial of the male
Little Bustards (Sisón Común / Tetrax tetrax) who was strutting around and giving it Raspberry like call regularly. |

Off to his left I found another 7 birds, two more males and 5 females, but they were much more chilled and just sat in amongst the Lucerne and other wildflowers resting.  |

I continued scanning and added Red-legged Partridge (Perdiz Roja / Alectoris rufa),
Little Owl (Mochuelo Europeo / Athene noctua),
Eurasian Hoopoe (Abubilla Común / Upupa epops), Woodchat Shrike (Alcaudón Común / Lanius senator) x3,
Iberian Magpie (Rabilargo Ibérico / Cyanopica cooki),
Eurasian Skylark (Alondra Común / Alauda arvensis), Barn Swallow (Golondrina Común / Hirundo rustica),
Western House Martin (Avión Común Occidental / Delichon urbicum),
Cetti's Warbler (Cetia Ruiseñor / Cettia cetti) and others.
