Huétor Fields, Granada Province, Spain.

Down on the fields for an evening walk.

Late evening shadows.
I was down on the patch early and parked by the Walnut trees, I then walked up to my usual parking spot and then back passed the car to the crossroad and back.
Species included European Turtle Dove (Tórtola Europea / Streptopelia turtur), Woodchat Shrike (Alcaudón Común / Lanius senator), Iberian  Magpie (Rabilargo Ibérico / Cyanopica cooki), Zitting Cisticola (Cistícola Buitrón / Cisticola juncidis), Melodious (Zarcero políglota / Hippolais polyglotta), Willow (Mosquitero Musical / Phylloscopus trochillus), Sardinian (Curruca Cabecinegra / Curruca melanocephala) and Cetti's Warbler (Cetia Ruiseñor / Cettia cetti), Eurasian Crag Martin (Avión Roquero / Ptyonoprogne rupestris), European Pied (Papamoscas Cerrojillo / Ficedula hypoleuca) and Spotted Flycatchers (Papamoscas Gris / Muscicapa striata), Northern Wheatear (Collalba Gris / Oenanthe oenanthe), Common Waxbill (Estrilda Ondulada / Estrilda astrild), Grey (Lavandera Cascadena / Motacilla cinerea), Spanish (Yellow) (Lavandera Boyera / Motacilla flava iberiae) and White Wagtail (Lavandera Blanca / Montacilla alba) and Corn Bunting (Escribano Triguero / Emberiza calandra).

Other species included Red-veined Darter (Sympetrum fonscolombii) x3, Desert Orange-tip (Colotis evagore) x3, Iberian Scarce Swallowtail (Iphiclides feisthameli) x1, Lang's Short-tailed Blue (Leptotes pirithous) x2 and Wall Brown (Lasiommata megera) x3.
