I went down the fields after checking the Moths on the terrace, I parked at my usual spot and then walked out as far as the Crossroads, turned right and then right again along the Arroyo and then back to the car.

Interesting species included 16 Little Bustards (Sisón Común / Tetrax tetrax), European Turtle Dove (Tórtola Europea / Streptopelia turtur), Iberian  (Rabilargo Ibérico / Cyanopica cooki) and Eurasian Magpie (Urraca Común / Pica pica), Corn Bunting (Escribano Triguero / Emberiza calandra), Sardinian (Curruca Cabecinegra / Curruca melanocephala), Cetti's (Cetia Ruiseñor / Cettia cetti), Common Reed (Carricero Común / Acrocephalus scrpaceus), Willow (Mosquitero Musical / Phylloscopus trochillus) and Melodious Warbler (Zarcero políglota / Hippolais polyglotta), Zitting Cisticola (Cistícola Buitrón / Cisticola juncidis), Little Owl (Mochuelo Europeo / Athene noctua), Woodchat Shrike (Alcaudón Común / Lanius senator), Western Jackdaw (Grajilla occidental / Corvus monedula), European Pied (Papamoscas Cerrojillo / Ficedula hypoleuca) and Spotted Flycatchers (Papamoscas Gris / Muscicapa striata), Common Redstart (Colirroja Real / Phoenicurus phoenicurus), Grey (Lavandera Cascadena / Motacilla cinerea), Spanish (Yellow) (Lavandera Boyera / Motacilla flava iberiae) and White Wagtail (Lavandera Blanca / Montacilla alba), Sand Martin (Avión Zapador / Riparia riparia) and an unexpected female Bluethroat (Ruiseñor Pechiazul / Luscinia svecica).

I returned home and spent the rest of the day doing house work which was much needed as I hadn't touched the place for 10 days or more.
