Huétor Fields, Granada Province, Spain.

A quick walk between the rain.

Most of the day was spent at home, the rain did stop for a short while so I headed out to the Lucerne fields and after parking by the Walnut Trees and walked along the track between the Fields and the partly flooded Arroyo Vilano.

Species seen included Little Bustard (Sisón Común / Tetrax tetrax) x8, Black-winged Kite (Elanio Común / Elanus caeruleus) x2, Eurasian Sparrowhawk (Gavilán Común / Accipiter nisus), Common Woodpigeon (Paloma Torcaz / Columba palumbus), Eurasian Magpie (Urraca Común / Pica pica), Eurasian Skylark (Alondra Común / Alauda arvensis), Crested Lark (Cogujada Común / Galerida cristata), Spotless Starling (Estornino Negro / Sturnus unicolor), European Stonechat (Tarabilla Europea / Saxicola rubicola), Common Waxbill (Estrilda Ondulada / Estrilda astrild), House Sparrow (Gorrión Común / Passer domesticus), Eurasian Tree Sparrow (Gorrión Molinero / Passer montanus), White Wagtail (Lavandera Blanca / Montacilla alba), Meadow Pipit (Bisbita Pratense / Anthus pratensis) and Common Linnet (Pardillo Común / Linaria cannabina).

The rain came back again so I headed back to the house and got the bowls out ready for the storm.
