| The Balsa. |
I started the day with a run out to Balsa de Regidor where I had a couple of year ticks, there were at least 7 Western House Martin (Avión Común Occidental / Delichon urbicum) zipping around low over the water with around the same number of Eurasian Crag Martins (Avión Roquero / Ptyonoprogne rupestris) and as I watched these birds low down I was aware of a couple of cronking Northern Ravens (Cuervo grande / Corvus corax) overhead which were noisily harassing two pairs of Common Buzzard (Busardo Ratonero / Buteo buteo) who were ignoring them as they were having their own territorial dispute.
