Huétor Fields, Granada Province, Spain.

A walk down to Huétor and then on to the Mechanic's.
Ebird List for the walk to Huétor.

I decided to have a walk down to Huétor as I still hadn't got the car back, I walked down to the end of the road and took the main road to town as far as the railway where I took to the fields and then along the Dog S**t track to the ring road.
On the way down to the bottom of the road I started the list with Common Woodpigeon (Paloma Torcaz / Columba palumbus), Eurasian Collared Dove (Tórtola Turca / Streptopelia decaocto), Common Blackbird (Mirlo Común / Turdus merula), Little Owl (Mochuelo Europeo / Athene noctua), Eurasian Hoopoe (Abubilla Común / Upupa epops), Common Kestrel (Cernicalo Vulgar / Falco tinnunculus), Cetti's (Cetia Ruiseñor / Cettia cetti) and Sardinian Warbler (Curruca Cabecinegra / Curruca melanocephala), Zitting Cisticola (Cistícola Buitrón / Cisticola juncidis), Spotless Starling (Estornino Negro / Sturnus unicolor), European Goldfinch (Jilguero Europeo / Carduelis carduelis), European Greenfinch (Verderón Común / Chloris chloris), Common Chaffinch (Pinzón Vulgar / Fringilla coelebs), House Sparrow (Gorrión Común / Passer domesticus), Great Tit (Carbonera Común / Parus major), a good sized flock of Iberian  Magpies (Rabilargo Ibérico / Cyanopica cooki) and European Stonechat (Tarabilla Europea / Saxicola rubicola).
I walked towards the town on the main road adding Eurasian Magpie (Urraca Común / Pica pica), Crested (Cogujada Común / Galerida cristata) and Greater Short-toed Lark (Terrera Común / Calandrella brachydactyla), Common Waxbill (Estrilda Ondulada / Estrilda astrild), Spanish (Yellow) Wagtail (Lavandera Boyera / Motacilla flava iberiae), Common Linnet (Pardillo Común / Linaria cannabina), European Serin (Serin Verdecillo / Serinus serinus) and Corn Bunting (Escribano Triguero / Emberiza calandra).
Once I had crossed the Railway line via the foot bridge I took to the fields and walked out through the Asparagus to the track down to town which all the dog walkers seem to use and allow them to S**t everywhere but as I dodged the piles I saw Feral Pigeon (Paloma Bravía / Columba livia), 16 Little Bustards (Sisón Común / Tetrax tetrax), 11x Eurasian Stone Curlews (Alcaraván Común / Burhinus oedicnemus), a single Northern Lapwing (Avefria Europea / Vanellus vanellus), Western Jackdaw (Grajilla occidental / Corvus monedula), Sand Martin (Avión Zapador / Riparia riparia), Barn Swallow (Golondrina Común / Hirundo rustica), a nice male Bluethroat (Ruiseñor Pechiazul / Luscinia svecica), Eurasian Blackcap (Curruca Capirotada / Curruca capirotada), Spotted (Papamoscas Gris / Muscicapa striata) and European Pied Flycatcher (Papamoscas Cerrojillo / Ficedula hypoleuca), Grey (Lavandera Cascadena / Motacilla cinerea) and White Wagtail (Lavandera Blanca / Montacilla alba).
I went into town and did some shopping, had breakfast and then went down to the Mechanic's where he was still working on the car and still having problems. He took me back home and I spent a while sorting out a fall back car which I sorted which friend Chris again but later in the evening I got a call from the Mechanic to say all was sorted and he was on his way to collect me.
