Little Bustards (Sisón Común / Tetrax tetrax).

After a while we made our way up to the Lucerne Fields and parked where I usually go and then scanned the fields from there adding Eurasian Sparrowhawk (Gavilán Común / Accipiter nisus), Common Buzzard (Busardo Ratonero / Buteo buteo), Common Kestrel (Cernicalo Vulgar / Falco tinnunculus), Common Blackbird (Mirlo Común / Turdus merula), Common Moorhen (Gallineta Común / Gallinulas chloropus), Iberian  Magpie (Rabilargo Ibérico / Cyanopica cooki), Cetti's (Cetia Ruiseñor / Cettia cetti), Sardinian (Curruca Cabecinegra / Curruca melanocephala) and Common Reed Warbler (Carricero Común / Acrocephalus scrpaceus).
Northern Lapwings (Avefria Europea / Vanellus vanellus).
We steadily moved on around the Lucerne Fields and again checked the fence at the far end, as we did this we saw Grey Wagtail (Lavandera Cascadena / Motacilla cinerea), Barn Swallow (Golondrina Común / Hirundo rustica), Western House Martin (Avión Común Occidental / Delichon urbicum), European Stonechat (Tarabilla Europea / Saxicola rubicola), European Pied (Papamoscas Cerrojillo / Ficedula hypoleuca) and Spotted Flycatcher (Papamoscas Gris / Muscicapa striata), Little Owl (Mochuelo Europeo / Athene noctua), Corn Bunting (Escribano Triguero / Emberiza calandra), European Goldfinch (Jilguero Europeo / Carduelis carduelis), European Greenfinch (Verderón Común / Chloris chloris), European Serin (Serin Verdecillo / Serinus serinus) and Common Linnet (Pardillo Común / Linaria cannabina).
We drove to the plantation adding a single Short-toed Snake Eagle (Culebrera Europeo / Circaetus gallicus) and heard a calling Great Spotted Woodpecker (Pico Picapinos / Dendrocopos major) before heading to the tracks and irrigation channels on the Mesia road where we did a short walk seeing Common Waxbill (Estrilda Ondulada / Estrilda astrild), Red-legged Partridge (Perdiz Roja / Alectoris rufa) and another 2 Northern Lapwings.
Spotted Flycatcher (Papamoscas Gris / Muscicapa striata).

Other species seen during the trip around the fields were Bath (Pontia daplidice) x2, Large (Pieris brassicae) x1 and Small White (Pieris rapae) x23, Clouded Yellow (Colias croceus) x4, Lang's Short-tailed Blue (Leptotes pirithous) x2 and Red-veined Darter (Sympetrum fonscolombii) x5.
We drove down the tracks along the railway line and to the town via the Airfield but we didn't add anything new so Barbara and Derek dropped me back up to the house and then they headed off home after an enjoyable few days.
