Near Huétor Tajar, Granada Province, Spain.*

A morning on the Terrace.
Ebird List.

The view from the Terrace.
I got up early and did some filling on a wall inside the downstairs accommodation getting it ready for some paint before sitting up on the terrace for the rest of the morning whilst the heat wasn't too bad.
Up on the hill in front of the house I counted 14 European Turtle Doves (Tórtola Europea / Streptopelia turtur) sat up on the wires with a few Common Woodpigeons (Paloma Torcaz / Columba palumbus).
An Iberian  Magpies (Rabilargo Ibérico / Cyanopica cooki) in the Fig Tree.

Other species seen included a good number of European Bee-eaters (Abejaruco Europeo / Merops apiaster) all of which were moving through headed west, Iberian  Magpies (Rabilargo Ibérico / Cyanopica cooki) which were coming in and feeding on the figs, as were the Great Tits (Carbonera Común / Parus major), Common Blackbirds (Mirlo Común / Turdus merula) and House Sparrows (Gorrión Común / Passer domesticus).
Over head there were also several Western House Martins (Avión Común Occidental / Delichon urbicum), Barn Swallow (Golondrina Común / Hirundo rustica),
