Huétor Fields, Granada Province, Spain.*

A walk around the fields before finding out it was a national holiday and all was closed.
Ebird list for the fields.

Sun Rise.
I was up and down on the fields early, before the sun came up and parked where I usually do before walking the fields down to the crossroads and then towards Huétor before cutting back to the car along the Arroyo.
Spotless Starling (Estornino Negro / Sturnus unicolor) that's been in a fig tree.
Interesting species included Little Bustards (Sisón Común / Tetrax tetrax), European Turtle Dove (Tórtola Europea / Streptopelia turtur), Zitting Cisticola (Cistícola Buitrón / Cisticola juncidis), Common Reed (Carricero Común / Acrocephalus scrpaceus) and Cetti's Warbler (Cetia Ruiseñor / Cettia cetti), Common Waxbill (Estrilda Ondulada / Estrilda astrild), Eurasian Tree Sparrow (Gorrión Molinero / Passer montanus) and Spanish (Yellow) Wagtail (Lavandera Boyera / Motacilla flava iberiae).
Common Waxbill (Estrilda Ondulada / Estrilda astrild).
Once I got back to the car I went down town expecting to do some shopping but found it was a holiday so all was shut apart from the bakery where I got a few bits and then had some breakfast at the bar at the Garage on the way back home.
Common Waxbill (Estrilda Ondulada / Estrilda astrild).
