Near Huétor Tajar, Granada Province, Spain.*

In the garden and around the fields.

A rainbow from the terrace.
I spent most of the day at home but during the evening I went out for a beer in town, just before I left I put the Moth light on and as I went out on to the terrace I was surprised to find it was raining and that there was a Rainbow out over the Olives.
I went down to 3 Calles for a drink, I had a couple of bottles of 0/0 and a bit of Tapas before around 40 cyclists turned up and swamped the place and were extremely loud so I decided to head back home but went for a walk around the Lucerne fields first.
Some Tapas.
As I walked I heard and saw 2 male Little Bustards (Sisón Común / Tetrax tetrax), Mallard (Anade Azulón / Anas platyrhynchos), Common Nightingale (Ruisenor Común / Luscinia megarhynchos), Common Swift (Vencejo Común / Apus apus), Barn Swallow (Golondrina Común / Hirundo rustica), European Bee-eater (Abejaruco Común / Merops apiaster), Common Blackbird (Mirlo Común / Turdus merula), Eurasian Magpie (Urraca Común / Pica pica), Common Stonechat (Tarabilla Común / Saxicola torquata), Corn Bunting (Triguero / Emberiza calandra), Iberian  Magpie (Rabilargo Ibérico / Cyanopica cooki), Zitting Cisticola (Cistícola Buitrón / Cisticola juncidis), Sardinian Warbler (Curruca Cabecinegra / Curruca melanocephala), European Turtle Dove (Tórtola Europea / Streptopelia turtur) and back at the house I watched two Red-necked Nightjars (Chotacabras Cuellirrojo / Caprimulgus ruficollis) siting on nearby wires.
