After getting the car through it's ITV (MOT) at the second attempt and a good visit to the Hospital I did some cleaning up on the terrace and then went for a walk around on Hacho once it had warmed up nicely.

I parked down by the bins and then walked up past the quarry and down to the first junction, on the south facing slope near the car I found the first of quite a few Small Heaths (Coenonympha pamphilus), a female Clouded Yellow (Colias corceua), several Western Dappled Whites (Euchloe crameri), 7926 Aspitates ochrearia (Yellow Belle) x2, Fan-lipped (Anacamptis collina) and Somber Bee Orchids (Ophrys fusca / foresteri), Broad-leaved Iris (Iris planifolia), Common Asphodel (Asphodelus aestivus), Common Whitlowgrass (Erophila verna), Bellis microcephala, Field Marigold (Calendula arvensis), Amethyst Toadflax (Linaria amethystea), Sardinian Warbler (Curruca Cabecinegra / Sylvia melanocephala), Blackbird (Mirlo Común / Turdus merula), Blackcap (Curruca Capirotada / Sylvia atricailla), Woodpigeon (Paloma Torcaz / Columba palumbus), Common Crossbill (Piquituerto Común / Loxia curvirostra) and Serin (Verdecillo / Serinus serinus).

As I came along side the quarry I picked up Black Wheatear (Collalba Negra / Oenanthe leucura), Crested (Herrerillo Capuchino / Parus cristatus) and Great Tit (Carbonera Común / Parus major), Black Redstart (Colirrojo Tizón / Phoenicurus ochruros), Giant Orchid (Himanthoglosum Robertiana), Hummingbird Hawkmoth (Macroglossum stellatarum) and Wild Grape Hyacinth (Muscari neglectum).

Up around the pine woodlands and abandoned Almond groves there were good numbers of flowering
Southern Early Purple Orchid (Orchis olbienis), more Fan-lipped, Somber Bee's and a few spikes of Sawfly Orchid (Ophrys tenthredinifera) along with a soaring Northern Goshawk (Azor Común / Accipitor gentillis), Rock Bunting (Escribano Montesino / Emberiza cia), Wren (Chochin / Troglodytes troglodytes), 2x Siskin (Lúgano / Carduelis spinus), Long-tailed Tit (Mito / Aegithalos caudatus), Crag Martin (Avión Roquero / Ptyonoprogne rupestris), Wall Brown (Lasiommata megera), Large White (Pieris brassicae), Small Copper (Lycaena phlaeas), a single Comma (Polygonum c-album) and 3x Provence Hairstreak (Tomares ballus).

I turned around and walked back down the hill to the car, on the way I heard a
Eurasian Eagle Owl (Búho Real / Bubo bubo) calling several times from on the nearby crags.
