Huétor Town Fields, Granada Province, Spain.

A very quick check on the Town fields on my way back from Paqui's.
Ebird List for the Fields.

I was catching up with some jobs at home when Paqui sent a message to see if I wanted a coffee down at her place, so I headed down, as I was heading to the car I flushed a fine looking but unexpected ♂ Northern Goshawk (Azor Común / Accipitor gentillis) from the chimney on my house.
I enjoyed a coffee and tostarda with Paqui before heading back to continue with things at the house but I called in at the fields just out of town, the main species seen were 275 or so Eurasian Stone Curlews (Alcaraván Común / Burhinus oedicnemus), a single Northern Lapwing (Avefria Europea / Vanellus vanellus), Grey Heron (Garza Real / Ardea cinerea), Eurasian Sparrowhawk (Gavilán Común / Accipiter nisus), Eurasian Hoopoe (Abubilla Común / Upupa epops), Common Kestrel (Cernicalo Vulgar / Falco tinnunculus), Eurasian Magpie (Urraca Común / Pica pica), Eurasian Skylark (Alondra Común / Alauda arvensis), Black Redstart (Colirrojo Tizón / Phoenicurus ochruros), Grey (Lavandera Cascadena / Motacilla cinerea) and White Wagtail (Lavandera Blanca / Montacilla alba), Meadow Pipit (Bisbita Pratense / Anthus pratensis), Common Linnet (Pardillo Común / Linaria cannabina), European Goldfinch (Jilguero Europeo / Carduelis carduelis) and Corn Bunting (Escribano Triguero / Emberiza calandra).
I got home and finished the jobs before going back down to Paqui's, later I returned home and got ready for the arrival of friends Barbara, Sonia, Derek and Ricky who were coming up for the weekend.
Once everyone was settled in we headed down to 3 Calles for some food and then came back to the house and finished the evening with a few drinks.
