Another check-in on the Owl family.

Paqui and I headed out to a spot near the Presa where we again set up the chairs and from a good distance watched the
Eurasian Eagle Owls (Búho Real / Bubo bubo), which were sitting out on the far side of the valley.

Black-crowned Night Heron (Marinete Común / Nycticorax nycticorax), Eurasian Golden Oriole (Oropéndola Europea / Oriolus oriolus),
European Bee-eater (Abejaruco Europeo / Merops apiaster),
Iberian Green Woodpecker (Pito ibérico / Picus sharpei),
Eurasian Crag Martin (Avión Roquero / Ptyonoprogne rupestris) and
Iberian Magpie (Rabilargo Ibérico / Cyanopica cooki).

On our way off the site we had a very well behaved
Red-necked Nightjar (Chotacabras Cuellirrojo / Caprimulgus ruficollis) which was sitting in the centre of the road and was well lit up by the headlights.
