I started the morning by doing a walk around part of the ring road and then I took the car into the Mechanic as the Shockers had given up, which considering the types of tracks I regularly take the car on it's not really a big surprise.

Friends Sue and Dave who are staying in Casa Jasmine next door picked me up from Venta Nueva and dropped me back to the house where I got on with some house work, as I walked from the bottom room up to the house I picked up a pair of noisy Northern Raven (Cuervo grande / Corvus corax) and then later up on the terrace I added Eurasian Collared Dove (Tórtola Turca / Streptopelia decaocto), Golden (Águila Real / Aquila chrysaetos) and Iberian Imperial Eagle (Aguila Imperial Ibérica / Aguila adalberti), Great Tit (Carbonera Común / Parus major), Barn Swallow (Golondrina Común / Hirundo rustica), Sardinian Warbler (Curruca Cabecinegra / Curruca melanocephala), Spotless Starling (Estornino Negro / Sturnus unicolor), Common Blackbird (Mirlo Común / Turdus merula), House Sparrow (Gorrión Común / Passer domesticus), Common Chaffinch (Pinzón Vulgar / Fringilla coelebs) and European Serin (Serin Verdecillo / Serinus serinus).

Other species included Vagrant Emperor (Anax ephippiger) x1♀, Desert Darter (Sympetrum sinaiticum) x1♂, Epaulet Skimmer (Orthetrum chrysostigma) x1♂ x1♀ and Desert Orange-tip (Colotis evagore) x2♂.
