Malaga, Malaga Province, Spain.

Chasing a good rarity and staying with good friends down in Malaga Province.
Ebird List, 13 Species.

Lesser Yellowlegs (Archibebe Patigualdo Chico /Tringa flavipes).
As I had only got back home yesterday and I was off again today I thought I had better get a bit of cleaning done before I headed down to Malaga where I was hoping to catch up with a Lesser Yellowlegs (Archibebe Patigualdo Chico /Tringa flavipes) which had been around for a few days, thanks to the original finder (who I don't know) for putting out the news.

By the time I reached the coast it was raining but when I arrived I soon found the bird feeding in a large concrete storm channel with several
Black-winged Stilts (Ciguenela Común / Himantopus himantopus).

In the same area I recorded
Mallard (Anade Azulón / Anas platyrhynchos), Common Moorhen (Gallineta Común / Gallinulas chloropus), Common Snipe (Agachadiza Común / Gallinago gallinago), Green Sandpiper (Andarrios Grande / Tringa ochropus), Collared Dove (Tórtola Turca / Streptopelia decaocto), Monk Parakeet (Cotorra Argentina / Myiopsitta monachus), Common Chiffchaff (Mosquitero Común / Phylloscopus collybita), Black Redstart (Colirrojo Tizón / Phoenicurus ochruros), Meadow Pipit (Bisbita Pratense / Anthus pratensis), Grey (Lavandera Cascadena / Motacilla cinerea) and White Wagtail (Lavandera Blanca / Montacilla alba).

After getting nice views even in the rain I left and headed to Barbara and Dereks as I was going to stay with them as we were heading out with AndyPatterson in the morning for a days birding at La Janda.
