First visit to the patch in 2024.

Sierra Nevada behind the Lucerne fields.

On my way back from Mercadona I called in at the fields just to the North of the town where I picked up
Stone Curlew (Alcaraván Común / Burhinus oedicnemus),
Northern Lapwing (Avefria Europea / Vanellus vanellus), Golden Plover (Chorlito Dorado Europeo / Pluvialis apricaia),
Little Owl (Mochuelo Europeo / Athene noctua),
Spotless Starling (Estornino Negro / Sturnus unicolor),
Common Stonechat (Tarabilla Común / Saxicola torquata),
White Wagtail (Lavandera Blanca / Montacilla alba),
House Sparrow (Gorrión Común / Passer domesticus) and
Feral Pigeon (Paloma Bravía / Columba livia).

I also had a walk along the Lucerne fields but didn't add anything new but did see 2 more
Little Owls.

When I got home I filled the feeders and almost straight away several
Siskins (Lúgano / Carduelis spinus) arrived and in the barranco I also saw and heard
Sardinian Warbler (Curruca Cabecinegra / Sylvia melanocephala),
Blackcap (Curruca Capirotada / Sylvia atricailla) and
Common Chaffinch (Pinzón Vulgar / Fringilla coelebs).
