Back for the birds and a chat.
|
After a morning with Santi at the house I popped up to the Sad Hill site during siesta time hoping to find the flock of
Fieldfare (Zorzal Real / Turdus pilaris) I had seen at the end of 2023 when it numbered 55 at least but today I was only to find a group of 5 birds, guessing this was due to the change in the weather and the drop in temperature.

The sun peeping through between the snow.

Several heavy snow showers passed along the valley and the temp dropped off quickly so I returned to the central heating of Santi's house.
