The start of another road trip, to the East this Time.

We were packed early and after sorting out at the farm where we saw

Rainbow Lorikeet (Trichoglossus moluccanus),
Galah's (Eolophus roseicapilla),
Australian Magpie (Gymnorhina tibicen) and
Western Grey Kangaroo (
Macropus fuliginosus fuliginosus).  |

After we finished at Eagle View we went to feed at Renates and the a short while later Renate came over to Eagle View and we set off for Victoria, on the way to our first stop for breakfast at Coonalpyn we started the trip list with
Grey Shrikethrush (Colluricincla harmonica),
Crimson Rosella (Platycercus elegans),
Sulphur-crested Cockatoo (Cacatua galerita),
Australian Ibis (Threskiornis molucca),
Australian Wood Duck (Chenonetta jubata),

Crested Pigeon (Ocyphaps lophotes),
Magpie-lark (Grallina cyanoleuca),
Little Raven (Corvus mellori),
Common Starling (Sturnus vulgaris),

Australasian Darter (Anhinga novaehollandiae),
Black-shouldered Kite (Elanus axillaris),
White-winged Chough (Corcorax melanorhamphos),
Silver Gull (Chroicocephalus novaehollandiae),
Australasian Swamphen (Porphyrio melanotus) and
Grey Currawong (Strepera versicolor).

We stopped in Coonalpyn where we had coffee and waffles for breakfast, whilst we were there we added
Welcome Swallow (Hirundo neoxena),
Noisy Miner (Manorina melanocephala) and
Eastern Rosella (Platycercus eximius) before we continued on towards Bordertown, on this stretch we picked up
Tree Martin (Petrochelidon nigricans),
Red-rumped Parrot (Psephotus haematonotus),
Masked Lapwing (Vanellus miles) and
Whistling Kite (Haliastur sphenurus).

We arrived in Bordedtown and after a visit to the loo's we parked next to the White Kangaroos Wildlife Park where we saw more
Eastern Rosella's,
Noisy Miner's,
Crested Pigeon's,
New Holland Honeyeater (Phylidonyris novaehollandiae),
Musk Lorikeet (Glossopsitta concinna) and then we found a pair of
Bush Thick-knee's (Burhinus grallarius) which was a difficult bird in South Australia due to the large numbers of the non-native
Red Fox (Zorro / Vulpus vulpus).  |

We continued on finding a couple of
Purple-crowned Lorikeet (Parvipsitta porphyrocephala) in a tree in the main street of Kaniva and as we headed for our accommodation in St Arnaud we finished the day with
Little Pied Cormorant (Microcarbo melanoleucos),
Brown Falcon (Falco berigora),
Australasian Pipit (Anthus novaeseelandiae) and
Australian Shelduck (Tadorna tadornoides).
