During a days birding out on the El Temple area I saw around 20 noisy
Great Spotted Cuckoos (Crialo Europeo / Clamator gladarius), these stunning birds are early arrivals that liven up the Pine and Almond groves with there constant rattling calls.

Most of the birds appeared to already be paired off and were already annoying the local
Common Magpie (Urraca / Pica pica) population.
