Albarracín Area, Teruel Province and Travelling Home, Spain.

A couple of stops on the way home and then a walk with Paqui.
 
I was up early and checking the area around the hotel where I found Eurasian Collared Dove (Tórtola Turca / Streptopelia decaocto), Eurasian Wryneck (Torcecuello / Jynx torquilla), Great Spotted Woodpecker (Pico Picapinos / Dendrocopos major), Eurasian Magpie (Urraca Común / Pica pica), Great (Carbonera Común / Parus major) and Eurasian Blue Tit (Herrerillo Común / Cyanistes caeruleus), Common Nightingale (Ruisenor Común / Luscinia megarhynchos), Black Redstart (Colirrojo Tizón / Phoenicurus ochruros)Common Blackbird (Mirlo Común / Turdus merula), Eurasian Blackcap (Curruca Capirotada / Curruca capirotada) and Sardinian (Curruca Cabecinegra / Curruca melanocephala), Melodious Warbler (Zarcero políglota / Hippolais polyglotta), Spotless Starling (Estornino Negro / Sturnus unicolor), House Sparrow (Gorrión Común / Passer domesticus), Common Chaffinch (Pinzón Vulgar / Fringilla coelebs) and European Serin (Serin Verdecillo / Serinus serinus).
Andy and I met for breakfast and then headed off towards home but made a stop near the town of Royuela where I picked up another calling WryneckCommon Woodpigeon (Paloma Torcaz / Columba palumbus), Spanish (Yellow) Wagtail (Lavandera Boyera / Motacilla flava iberiae), Eurasian Skylark (Alondra Común / Alauda arvensis), Woodlark (Alondra Totovía / Lullula arborea), Spotless StarlingEurasian Hoopoe (Abubilla Común / Upupa epops), Carrion Crow (Corneja Negra / Corvus corone), Woodchat Shrike (Alcaudón Común / Lanius senator), Zitting Cisticola (Cistícola Buitrón / Cisticola juncidis), European Stonechat (Tarabilla Europea / Saxicola rubicola), European Goldfinch (Jilguero Europeo / Carduelis carduelis) and Corn Bunting (Escribano Triguero / Emberiza calandra).

As I was passing I called in at the Spring Ringlet (Erebia epistygne) site we had been to a couple of days ago, it was still early and quite cold but there were already a few Ringlets on the wing.

Whilst there I also saw a couple of Painted Lady's (Vanessa cardui), Common Cuckoo (Cuco Común / Cuculus canorus), Woodchat ShrikeCommon Blackbird, Spectacled Warbler (Curruca Tomillera / Curruca conspicillata), Eurasian Skylark and Woodlark and Common Chaffinch.

I moved on and towards home, I quickly popped into the Puddling spot Andy had shown me a few days ago, down by the river I found 
Provençal Fritillary (Melitaea deione) and a couple of Panoptes Blue (Pseudophilotes panoptes).

On the other side of the road I walked the abandoned fields finding what I think are 
Cryptic Red-underwing Skipper (Spialia rosae) going by the amount of Rose plants in the area, Southern Grizzled Skipper (Pyrgus malvoides), Swallowtail (Papilio machaon), Chapman's (Polyommatus Thersites) and Panoptes BluePainted LadyGriffon Vulture (Bultre Leonado / Gyps fulvus), Common Blackbird (Mirlo Común / Turdus merula), Eurasian Blue Tit (Herrerillo Común / Cyanistes caeruleus), Melodious (Zarcero políglota / Hippolais polyglotta), Western Bonelli's (Mosquitero Papialbo / Phylloscopus bonelli) and Sardinian Warbler (Curruca Cabecinegra / Curruca melanocephala), European Stonechat (Tarabilla Europea / Saxicola rubicola) and Common Chaffinch.

Time was moving on and as I wanted to get home intime to see Paqui I decided to make a move as I still had just over 5 hours to travel which went by without incident and after unpacking I was very pleased to spend sometime up on my terrace with Paqui.
