The North West of South Australia.

The Outback.
Australia, Day Eleven.

Before light we heard both Southern Boobook (Ninox boobook) and Australian Owlet-nightjar (Aegotheles cristatus) and just as the sun started to lighten things up a tad the Pied Butcherbird (Cracticus nigrogularis) and Willie-wagtail (Rhipidura leucophrys) started to sing.

After breakfast we did a walk around our campsite and up into the hills nearby seeing Australian Magpie (Gymnorhina tibicen), Common Bronzewing (Phaps chalcoptera), Brown Falcon (Falco berigora), Black-faced Cuckooshrike (Coracina novaehollandiae), Grey-headed (Ptilotula keartlandi) and Grey-fronted Honeyeater (Ptilotula plumula), Grey Shrikethrush (Colluricincla harmonica), Zebra Finch (Taeniopygia guttata), Little Woodswallow (Artamus minor), Red-backed Kingfisher (Todiramphus pyrrhopygius), Western Bowerbird (Chlamydera guttata), Euro / Common Wallaroo (Osphranter robustus), Rabbit (Conejo / Oryctolagus cuniculus) and a Rusty Dragon (Ctenophorus rufescens) which Deb spotted.

Later we  set off for our next camp site a little further south, on the way we saw
Black-faced Woodswallow (Artamus cinereus), Australasian Pipit (Anthus novaeseelandiae), White-winged Fairywren (Malurus leucopterus), Sandhill Grasswren (Amytornis striatus oweni), White-browed Babbler (Pomatostomus superciliosus), Redthroat (Pyrrholaemus brunneus), Copperback Quail-thrush (Cinclosoma clarum), Yellow-throated Miner (Manorina flavigula) and good numbers of Masked Woodswallow (Artamus personatus). 
A better bit of the Road / Track / Trail.
Brown Falcon (Falco berigora).
Copperback Quail-thrush (Cinclosoma clarum) the best I managed.

At our next camp site we recorded Crested Bellbird (Oreoica gutturalis), Grey-headed Honeyeater (Ptilotula keartlandi) and Mulga Parrot (Psephotus varius).
