Huétor Fields, Granada Province, Spain.

Down on the fields nice and early whilst it was still cool, bliss.
Ebird List.

Sun Rise.

This morning there was a bit more Passerine movement, during the walk I had a group of 4x Common Whitethroats (Curruca Zarcera / Sylvia communis) moving through the Tamarisk bushes in the Arroyo as well as 3x Melodious (Zarcero Común / Hippolais polyglotta), 4x Reed (Carricero Común / Acrocephalus scrpaceus), 1x Willow Warbler (Mosquitero Musical / Phylloscopus trochillus).
Western Cattle Egret (Garcilla Bueyera / Bubulcus ibis).

Other summer visits seen, most of which will soon be on their way included Barn (Golondrina Común / Hirundo rustica) and Red-rumped Swallow (Golondrina Dáurica / Hirundo daurica), Sand (Avión Zapador / Riparia riparia) and House Martin (Avión Común / Delichon urbica), Common Swift (Vencejo Común / Apus apus), Greater Short-toed Lark (Terrera Común / Calandrella brachydactyla), Golden Oriole (Oropéndola / Oriolus oriolus), Turtle Dove (Tórtola Europea / Streptopelia turtur), Nightingale (Ruisenor Común / Luscinia megarhynchos) and Spanish (Yellow) Wagtail (Lavandera Boyera / Motacilla flava iberiae).

Other more resident species included Cetti's (Ruisenor Bastardo / Cettia cetti) and Sardinian Warbler (Curruca Cabecinegra / Sylvia melanocephala), Corn Bunting (Triguero / Emberiza calandra), Common Buzzard (Busardo Ratonero / Buteo buteo), Common Kestrel (Cernicalo Vulgar / Falco tinnunculus), Western Cattle Egret (Garcilla Bueyera / Bubulcus ibis), Iberian  Magpie (Rabilargo / Cyanopica cooki), Common Stonechat (Tarabilla Común / Saxicola torquata) and Spotless Starling (Estornino Negro / Sturnus unicolor).

As I walked I also added Bath (Pontia daplidice) x1 and Small White (Pieris rapae) x2, Long-tailed Blue (Lampides baeticus) x2 and Clouded Yellow (Colias corceua) x2.
