A walk back home across the fields after dropping the car off at the mechanics.

I dropped the car off at the Mechanics in Venta Nueva and walked up into the town where I stopped at Bar Florida bumping into a couple of people I hadn't seen for a while, forgot it was a Monday!!!

On the way I saw a single Little Ringed Plover (Chorlitejo Chico / Charadrius dubius), White Wagtail (Lavandera Blanca / Montacilla alba), Serin (Verdecillo / Serinus serinus), Greenfinch (Verderón Común / Carduelis chloris), Goldfinch (Jilguero / Carduelis carduelis), Spotless Starling (Estornino Negro / Sturnus unicolor), House Sparrow (Gorrión Común / Passer domesticus), Feral Pigeon (Paloma Bravía / Columba livia), Collared Dove (Tórtola Turca / Streptopelia decaocto), Woodpigeon (Paloma Torcaz / Columba palumbus), Crested Lark (Cogujada / Galerida cristata) and Blackbird (Mirlo Común / Turdus merula).

By the river I added Cetti's Warbler (Ruisenor Bastardo / Cettia cetti), Muscovy Duck (Cairina moschata) and the resident flock of domestic type Greylag Geese (Ansar Común / Anser anser).

I walked through the town and stopped for a Tostada seeing a couple of House Martins (Avión Común / Delichon urbica) and after the visit to the bar I walked out of the Northern side of the town and took the road out over the fields but could not do the Lucerne fields track as the water in the Arroyo was still to deep to cross on foot.

On the way I saw 4 x Alpine Swifts (Vencejo Real / Apus melba), Barn (Golondrina Común / Hirundo rustica) and Red-rumped Swallow (Golondrina Dáurica / Hirundo daurica), House Martin (Avión Común / Delichon urbica), Stone Curlew (Alcaraván Común / Burhinus oedicnemus), Little Owl (Mochuelo Europeo / Athene noctua), Skylark (Alondra Común / Alauda arvensis), Zitting Cisticola (Buitrón / Cisticola juncidis), Spanish (Yellow) Wagtail (Lavandera Boyera / Motacilla flava iberiae), Spanish Sparrows (Gorrión Moruno / Passer hispaniolensis), Cymbalaria-leaved Speedwell (Veronica cymbalaria), Eruca (Eruca sativa), Common Fumitory (Fumaria officinalis), Field Marigold (Calendula arvensis), Corn Poppy (Papaver rhoeas), Groundsel (Senecio vulgaris) and Henbit Deadnettle (Lamium amplexicaule).

I got home and checked the feeders and found the Siskins (Lúgano / Carduelis spinus) and House Sparrows (Gorrión Común / Passer domesticus).
