We were out and about after breakfast and on our way out to Trebujena looking for the Rufous-tailed Sceub Robins (Alzacola / Cercotrichas galactotes) that breed in the area, on the way over we started the day list with a couple of Griffon Vultures (Bultre Leonado / Gyps fulvus) sat on a Pylon, Common Kestrel (Cernicalo Vulgar / Falco tinnunculus), Spanish (Yellow) Wagtail (Lavandera Boyera / Motacilla flava iberiae), Little Owl (Mochuelo Europeo / Athene noctua), Woodpigeon (Paloma Torcaz / Columba palumbus) and Spotless Starling (Estornino Negro / Sturnus unicolor).

We parked at the first of four sites we had for the Scrub Robin and found a very smart ceramic sign with information about the bird so we knew we were in the right area so after getting our kit together we went for a short walk between the Vine fields picking up Melodious Warbler (Zarcero Común / Hippolais polyglotta), House (Gorrión Común / Passer domesticus) and Spanish Sparrow (Gorrión Moruno / Passer hispaniolensis), Barn Swallow (Golondrina Común / Hirundo rustica) and then we had the target bird sit up nicely in a Almond tree for several minutes, giving us some very nice views.

Ceramic tile sign of a Pin-tailed Sandgrouse (Ganga Ibérica / Pterocles alchata) at the end of the track.
Any way we were soon back on the road but we took a wrong turn and had a nice drive out through the vines seeing lots of people harvesting the grapes and seeing another of the ceramic plaques but this one featured the very smart Red-necked Nightjar (Chotacabras Cuellirrojo / Caprimulgus ruficollis), we continued on around this loop and after a while we reached the road we wanted to be on and soon on the track we wanted to the Marismas de Alventus.
