Travelling Home via Río Guadaiza and Parque de Málaga, Malaga Province, Spain.

A couple of dips on my way home.

Little Egret (Garceta Común / Egreeta garzetta).
I had breakfast at John's and we had a sit out on the terrace for a short time, we saw the resident Griffon Vultures (Bultre Leonado / Gyps fulvus), Blackbird (Mirlo Común / Turdus merula), Crag Martins (Avión Roquero / Ptyonoprogne rupestris), Sardinian Warbler (Curruca Cabecinegra / Sylvia melanocephala) and lots of Blackcaps (Curruca Capirotada / Sylvia atricailla) before I headed back off up the coast.
I called in at Río Guadaiza to see if I could get some more prolonged views of the Eastern Yellow Wagtail (Lavandera de Chukotka / Motacilla tschutschensis) but in the 90 or so minutes I was there I only managed White (Lavandera Blanca / Montacilla alba) and Grey Wagtail (Lavandera Cascadena / Motacilla cinerea) as well as Mallard (Anade Azulón / Anas platyrhynchos), Little Egret (Garceta Común / Egreeta garzetta), Great Cormorant (Cormorán Grande / Phalacrocroax carbo), Black-headed (Gaviota Riedora / Larus ridibundus), Mediterranean (Gaviota Cabecinegra / Larus melanocephalus), Lesser Black-backed (Gaviota Sombria / Larus fuscus) and Yellow-legged Gull (Gaviota Patiamarilla / Larus Michahellis), Ruddy Turnstone (Vuelvepiedras Común / Arenaria interpres), Common Chiffchaff (Mosquitero Común / Phylloscopus collybita), Black Redstart (Colirrojo Tizón / Phoenicurus ochruros) and Monk Parakeets (Cotorra Argentina / Myiopsitta monachus).
Mediterranean Gull (Gaviota Cabecinegra / Larus melanocephalus).
I cut my looses and headed for Malaga City where a
Red-breasted Flycatcher (Papamoscas Papirrojo / Ficedula parva) had been reported, I arrived and spent around 3 hours looking in the area where it had been seen earlier in the day.
As hard as I searched I could not find the target species, I did see Rose-ringed Parakeet (Cotorra de Kramer / Psittacula krameri), Collared Dove (Tórtola Turca / Streptopelia decaocto), Common Chaffinch (Pinzón Vulgar / Fringilla coelebs), Goldfinch (Jilguero / Carduelis carduelis), Great Tit (Carbonera Común / Parus major), Robin (Petirrojo Europeo / Erithacus rubecula) and Song Thrush (Zorzal Común / Turdus philomelos).
Mediterranean Gull (Gaviota Cabecinegra / Larus melanocephalus).
I decided to head back home, unpack and get the fire going but later I found out that this was a mistake as the bird showed well again after I had left.
