A quiet day around the farm.
Australia, Day Thirty Seven.
During the morning Ian and I went out on the Gator to check on the
Cattle on the far fields, on the way out we had good views of one of the
pair of Wedge-tailed Eagle (Aquila audax), Pacific Black Duck (Anas superciliosa), Australasian Grebe (Tachybaptus novaehollandiae) and lots of Western Grey Kangaroos (Macropus fuliginosus fuliginosus).
Around the farm gardens I picked up New Holland Honeyeater (Phylidonyris novaehollandiae), Crimson Rosella (Platycercus elegans), Rainbow Lorikeet (Trichoglossus moluccanus), Red-browed Firetails (Neochmia temporalis), Superb Fairywren (Malurus cyaneus), White-browed Scrubwren (Sericornis frontalis), Sulphur-crested Cockatoo (Cacatua galerita), Galah's (Eolophus roseicapilla), Crested Pigeon (Ocyphaps lophotes), Grey Currawong (Strepera versicolor), Magpie-lark (Grallina cyanoleuca) and a couple of Laughing Kookaburra (Dacelo novaeguineae).
