I was down early, before first light as I wanted to get a walk in before a neighbour dropped me her dog around to look after for a few hours.

In a small area of wet irrigation channel which I check on the way back to the Crossroads I saw a male Eurasian Blackcap (Curruca Capirotada / Curruca capirotada), Common Nightingale (Ruisenor Común / Luscinia megarhynchos), Grey Wagtail (Lavandera Cascadena / Motacilla cinerea), Great (Carbonera Común / Parus major) and Eurasian Blue Tit (Herrerillo Común / Cyanistes caeruleus).
