We continued on around to Port Clinton and to the first of the spots at the Jetty where we checked the area Dave had told us about and as he also said if the Grey-tailed Tattler (Tringa brevipes) see us first it would fly out to the Mangroves and away and it was but not before I had nice flight views and slightly obscured views in a small Mangrove before it went further in.

White-fronted Chat (Epthianura albifrons).
We went through Port Wakefield again and after having a spot of lunch we went out to Bald Hill beach but the tide was still a tad too high for there to be many waders and after a 4X4 went along the track next to the beach there wasn't much of anything after all the birds flushed up, before this we recorded Grey Teal (Anas gracilis), Red-capped Plover, Ruddy Turnstone (Arenaria interpres), Red Knot (Calidris canutus), Red-necked Stint, Silver and Pacific Gull, Australian Fairy (Sternula nereis), Caspian , Whiskered and Great Crested Tern, Little Pied, Little Black and Pied Cormorant (Phalacrocorax varius), Little Egret (Egretta garzetta), White-faced Heron, Great White Egret (Ardea alba), Singing Honeyeater, White-fronted Chat (Epthianura albifrons), Australasian Pipit (Anthus novaeseelandiae), Welcome Swallow and Tree Martin.
