Looking North towards the town of Fuente de Piedra from Mirador de las latas.
|
We set off early and came into the area from the South via the Campillos road hoping to see some of the Common Cranes (Grulla Común / Grus grus) I had seen a week or so earlier but they were not around so we went to look at the main lake from the Mirador de las latas, out on the lake there were a small number of Greater Flamingo's (Flamenco Común / Phoenicopterus roseus) and a single Lesser Flamingo (Flamenco Enano / Phoenicopterus minor).
