A walk along a bit of the Cornish Coastal Footpath, later we had a Hot Chocolate before hitting the Pub.

Before we headed out for a walk we spent a while checking the garden finding Great Spotted Woodpecker (Pico Picapinos / Dendrocopos major), Blue (Herrerillo Común / Parus caeruleus), Coal (Carbonero Garrapinos / Parus ater) and Great Tit (Carbonera Común / Parus major), Goldfinch (Jilguero / Carduelis carduelis), Greenfinch (Verderón Común / Carduelis chloris), Common Chaffinch (Pinzón Vulgar / Fringilla coelebs), Pied Wagtail (Lavandera Blanca / Montacilla yarrellii), House Sparrow (Gorrión Común / Passer domesticus), Dunnock (Acentor Común / Prunella modularis), Robin (Petirrojo Europeo / Erithacus rubecula), Blackbird (Mirlo Común / Turdus merula), Common Starling (Estornino Pinto / Sturnus vulgaris), Wren (Chochin / Troglodytes troglodytes), Rook (Graja / Corvus frugilegus), Carrion Crow (Corneja Negra / Corvus corone), Common Magpie (Urraca / Pica pica), Jackdaw (Grajilla / Corvus monedula), European Herring (Gaviota Argéntea Europea / Larus argentatus) and Black-headed Gull (Gaviota Riedora / Larus ridibundus).

After a while we headed down to the car park above Poltesco Cove, we parked and went for a walk down towards the cove seeing Woodpigeon (Paloma Torcaz / Columba palumbus), Collared Dove (Tórtola Turca / Streptopelia decaocto), Dunnock, Robin, Blackbird, Blue, Great and Long-tailed Tits (Mito / Aegithalos caudatus), Wren (Chochin / Troglodytes troglodytes), Rook, Carrion Crow, Common Magpie and Common Kestrel (Cernicalo Vulgar / Falco tinnunculus) as well as Red Campion (Silene dioica), Hart's Tongue Fern (Asplenium scolopendrium) and Common polypody (Polypodium vulgare).

We reached the Cove where we picked up Rock (Bisbita Costero / Anthus petrosus) and Meadow Pipit (Bisbita Pratense / Anthus pratensis), Raven (Cuervo / Corvus corax), Great Black-backed Gull (Gavión Atlántico / Larus marinus), Shag (Cormorán Mondudo / Phalacrocorax aristotelis) and Great Cormorant (Cormorán Grande / Phalacrocroax carbo).

We walked along the clifftops seeing Sea Campion (Silene uniflora) and Common Gorse (Ulex europaeus) in flower as well as Common Buzzard (Busardo Ratonero / Buteo buteo), Kittiwake (Gaviota Tridáctila / Rissa tridactyla), Northern Gannet (Alcatraz Atlántico / Morus bassanus), Herring and Lesser Black-backed Gull (Gaviota Sombria / Larus fuscus).

We got back to the car and headed for a hot chocolate and a cake at Poldhu Cove Café, the Chocolate and cake was very nice and whilst we ate these we sat on the beach adding Pied Wagtail (Lavandera Blanca / Montacilla yarrellii) and Eurasian Oystercatcher (Ostrero Euroasiatico / Haematopus ostralegus) to the list before heading up to Heston Boating Lake.

Just before we left the car park I photographed some Butterbur (Petasites hybridus), up at the Lake we did a loop checking the Gulls and Ducks, we didn't see anything unexpected but added Tufted Duck (Porrón Monudo / Aythya fuligula), Northern Shoveler (Pato Cuchara / Anas clypeata), Mallard (Anade Azulón / Anas platyrhynchos), Eurasian Coot (Focha Común / Fulica atra), Common Moorhen (Gallineta Común / Gallinulas chloropus), Mute Swan (Cisne Vulgar / Cygnus olor), Canada Geese (Barnacla Canadiense /Branta canadensis) and Gulls.

Our final stop of the day was at Parr Sands where we spent a couple of hours in the Pub with Lynn and Steve's friends Vicky and Scoob.
