A short walk in the sun along the fields.

I decided that after sorting the moth trap and getting a few bits done at the house I would go for a walk just a short distance along the Arroyo to see if there were any butterflies around.

Along the long stretches of
Field Mustard (Brassica rapa) and
Eruca (Eruca sativa) I had several
Green-Striped Whites (Euchloe belemia) x3, as well as a couple of
Bath (Pontia daplidice) x2,
Large (Pieris brassicae) x1 and
Small Whites (
Pieris rapae) x4 along with
Painted Lady (Vanessa cardui) x1 and
Clouded Yellow (Colias croceus) x7.

There were a few birds around but nothing unusual but I did get up close to a nice
Corn Bunting (Triguero / Emberiza calandra).
