My next stop was south at Fuente de Nava in Palencia Province, here I parked at the Observatorio de Corralillos but it was quiet so I went down the road to Observatorio del Pradowhere I scanned the visible pools seeing Red Kite (Milano Real / Milvus milvus), Woodpigeon (Paloma Torcaz / Columba palumbus), Mistle Thrush (Zorzal Charlo / Turdus viscivorus), Kingfisher (Martin Pescador / Alcedo atthis), Iberian Green Woodpecker (Pito Real / Picus sharpei) and as I scanned back towards the other hide I picked up a flock of Greylags which landed near there so I drove back down again but not before I found 33 Great Bustards (Avutarda Común / Otis tarda) back by the car
Barnical Geese (Barnacla Cariblanca / Branta leucopsis).
Pink-footed Goose (Ánsar Piquicorto / Anser brachyrhynchus).

I set the scope up and scanned through the flock and soon found the fist of several Barnical Geese (Barnacla Cariblanca / Branta leucopsis) x17, Greater White-fronted Geese (Ánsar Careto / Anser albifrons) x46 and as more and more Greylags arrived I found a single Pink-footed Goose (Ánsar Piquicorto / Anser brachyrhynchus) and a blue morph Snow Goose (Ánsar nival / Anser coerlescens) which had been coming in with the Greylags.
White Stork (Ciguena Blanca / Ciconia ciconia).
