I went to a spot along the Rio Guadalfeo with Friend Juan where we spent quite a while looking for a reported
Wood Duck (Pato Joyuyo / Aix sponsa) which was extremely wary and showed for just a few seconds before diving back into the reeds.

Grey Wagtail (Lavandera Cascadena / Motacilla cinerea), Mallard (Anade Azulón / Anas platyrhynchos),
Common Moorhen (Gallineta Común / Gallinulas chloropus),
Nightingale (Ruisenor Común / Luscinia megarhynchos) and Cetti's Warbler (Ruisenor Bastardo / Cettia cetti). |
