Green Pool and Humphreston Lane, Albrighton, Shropshire.

A look at Green Pond and a walk with Harry.

Brown Hawker (Aeshna grandis).
I walked up Crossroads and spent a while having a look for Dragonflies and soon found Common Spreadwing (Lestes sponsa), Common Bluetail ( Ischnura elegans) which was sat on some Amphibious Bistort (Persicaria amphibia), Brown Hawker (Aeshna grandis), Migrant Hawker (Aeshna mixta) and Common Darter (Sympetrum striolatum).

There were just a few birds including Common Moorhen (Gallineta Común / Gallinulas chloropus), Robin (Petirrojo Europeo / Erithacus rubecula), Woodpigeon (Paloma Torcaz / Columba palumbus), Dunnock (Acentor Común / Prunella modularis), Common Magpie (Urraca / Pica pica) and Blackbird (Mirlo Común / Turdus merula). Also had a Common Field Grasshopper (Chorthippus brunneus) hop up on to my bins.
