Realenga, Huétor Tajar, Granada Province.

After the snow the Siskins came back.

The start of the snow shower.
During the morning we had quite a lot of rain which turned to snow later and gave us a good but tempary covering. During the snow and after it had cleared the wintering flock of Siskins (Lúgano / Carduelis spinus) soon came back into the feeders in the garden, a total od 32 birds between the two trays of seed.

In the garden I also saw House Sparrow (Gorrión Común / Passer domesticus), Blackcap (Curruca Capirotada / Sylvia atricailla), Blackbird (Mirlo Común / Turdus merula), Great Tit (Carbonera Común / Parus major), Iberian / Azure-winged Magpie (Rabilargo / Cyanopica cyanus), Robin (Petirrojo Europeo / Erithacus rubecula), Sardinian Warbler (Curruca Cabecinegra / Sylvia melanocephala), Spotless Starling (Estornino Negro / Sturnus unicolor) and Collared Dove (Tórtola Turca / Streptopelia decaocto).
