Hacho, Loja, Granada Province.

Night sky photography with Steve.

Steve and i went out late in the evening hoping to see the European Eagle Owls (Buho Real / Bubo bubo) on Hacho near Loja but we only managed to hear them as well as Little (Mochuelo Europeo / Athene noctua) and Scop's (Autillo Europeo / Otus scops).
Before dark we also saw Woodpigeon (Paloma Torcaz / Columba palumbus), Red-billed Chough (Chova Piquirroja / Pyrrhocorax pyrrhocorax), Short-toed Treecreeper (Agateador Común / Certhia brachydactyla), Great Tit (Carbonera Común / Parus major), Sardinian Warbler (Curruca Cabecinegra / Sylvia melanocephala), Iberian  Magpie (Rabilargo / Cyanopica cooki) and Blue-rock Thrush (Roquero Solitario / Monticola solitarius).
Once it started to go dark we set up the tripods and took some shots of the stars and planets.
