A quick look at the Orchids on the Northern slopes.

I spent a few minutes up on the smallish hill just to the North of Loja to check how well the
Giant Orchid (Himantoglossum robertiana) and
Ophrys forestieri were doing. In the ten minutes or so I was there I counted over 200 spikes in the one small area which was very pleasing.
